Sustainable Ports at Ghent University

Large-scale logistics and a busy industry are characteristic of a port. That is why these companies have the responsibility to take steps towards sustainability. A difficult task.

Profit, emissions, technology, competitors, politics. All have an impact on this complex job. That is why it would be great if you could experience this system safely, first. That is why the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University came to us with a question: a serious game for the future managers of the ports. In the coming years, these students will be part of this change and execute and even lead it.

The Sustainable Port is our latest board game themed around making our ports more environmentally friendly. Without losing sight of the reality and practicality that they live in. Together with Linda van Veen and Adam Bezuijen, we were allowed to design this wonderful game. Thank you for the excellent cooperation.
